My Story

I’m Ron Bajrami, a dedicated Computer Science major at Boston University. As a first-generation college student, I’m committed to making technology more accessible and efficient.

My Journey

I moved to the United States from Albania in 2019, facing the challenges of adapting to a new culture and language. During this transition, I taught myself English and discovered a passion for coding, which became a source of resilience and growth. This journey inspired my drive to create innovative solutions that make technology more accessible and impactful.

I focus on innovation and accessibility, developing projects that enhance technology’s safety and usability. Beyond my resume, I’ve created personal projects like a chess app, voice-to-text editor, chatbot, and several apps in Swift, reflecting my curiosity and drive to solve everyday challenges.

I’m on the e-board for multiple organizations, including: Pi Kappa Alpha (Social Chairman), UMass Robotics (Software Developer), HackUMass and Hack(H)er (Hardware Team), UMass Boxing Club (Events Coordinator), and the UMass Albanian Student Association (President and Founder). These roles enable me to collaborate with diverse teams and contribute meaningfully across campus.

I’m proficient in a wide range of programming languages, including Python, Java, JavaScript, Swift, TypeScript, C++, and SQL, among others. I also have hands-on experience with frameworks and tools like React, Django, PyTorch, Swift UI, Tailwind CSS, and MongoDB, enabling me to develop versatile and efficient software solutions. Additionally, I’m fluent in six spoken languages: Albanian, Macedonian, Serbian, Croatian, French, and English, which allows me to connect and collaborate in diverse environments.
